Graduate Civil Engineer
Civil engineering graduate supporting major infrastructure projects at SMEC through design, analysis, and site visits. Based in Newcastle or Canberra, with a structured two-year development program.

- Contribute to major infrastructure projects with experienced engineers and technical specialists.
- Take part in the two-year Graduate Development Program, combining project work, structured learning, mentoring, and cross-team experience.
- Help develop designs, drawings, models, and technical documents.
- Support engineering calculations and analysis for roads, drainage, or structures under senior engineers’ guidance.
- Join site visits and inspections.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate design inputs and support project milestones.
- Build knowledge of industry standards, tools, and practices through training and project work.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Hold a degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Communicate well and work effectively in a team.
- Have experience with design tools such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D; 12D or similar is an advantage.
- State a preferred location, Newcastle or Canberra, in your cover letter.
