Lead Machina Labs’ defense business development across European markets, expanding opportunities for its software-defined manufacturing factories. Build relationships with defense primes and advance technical engagements into proof-of-concept, qualification, and production programs.

- Provide regional market intelligence to inform Machina Labs’ European strategy.
- Work with U.S. business development, engineering, manufacturing, leadership, and defense subsidiary teams.
- Set target-account and program strategies across the European defense market.
- Build relationships with senior leaders and technical teams at priority European primes.
- Develop proof-of-concept programs with a route to qualification and production.
- Create a qualified pipeline of longer-term production opportunities.
- Assess where future European manufacturing or Edge Factory locations could offer strategic value.

- Technical expertise, ideally an engineering background followed by experience in business development, capture, program leadership, or another customer-facing role.
- In-depth knowledge of missile, hypersonic, strike, propulsion, weapons systems, or related aerospace and defense technologies, including their design and manufacture.
- A track record of developing business with European defense primes and navigating complex technical organizations.
- Experience advancing opportunities from relationship-building through technical evaluation, qualification, and production.
- Ability to work independently, set direction, and build momentum without an established local team or playbook.
- Strong communication skills and credibility with both technical and executive audiences.
- Willingness to travel extensively in Europe and periodically to Machina Labs’ Los Angeles headquarters.
- Must reside in Europe.
