Databricks Data Architect (Remote, Spain)
Design secure, AI-ready Lakehouse platforms for Devoteam clients using Databricks. Modernize legacy data systems across cloud and multi-cloud environments.
विवरण
- Design Lakehouse and Delta Lake architectures across cloud and multi-cloud environments
- Build and tune ETL/ELT pipelines with Apache Spark, Structured Streaming, and Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines
- Establish data governance, security, and lineage controls with Unity Catalog
- Set AI governance policies using Unity Gateway
- Create platforms for machine learning, generative AI, and advanced analytics with MLflow and Databricks Genie
- Improve Databricks performance and control costs through FinOps practices
- Contribute to data platform modernization and migrations to Lakehouse architectures
- Guide clients in applying Databricks best practices
- Work closely with technical and business teams
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bring substantial experience in data architecture and designing Databricks solutions
- Have deep knowledge of Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Photon
- Have experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
- Understand cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, and IAM security
- Have experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and data processing solutions
- Know data governance, performance optimization, and Lakehouse architectures
- Communicate clearly, work independently, and maintain a customer-focused approach
- Be fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish
- Hold a degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or have equivalent professional experience
- Have experience with Lakeflow, MLflow, Genie, or Unity Gateway
- Know generative AI and machine learning
- Have experience migrating legacy data platforms to Databricks
- Know FinOps and cloud cost optimization
- Hold a Databricks Data Engineer Professional certification or Platform Architect accreditation
