Compliance Analyst, American Express (Hybrid, India)
Support American Express compliance and risk teams with AML reviews, data analysis, and outcome-based testing. Develop testing methods and monitor banking compliance risks.
विवरण
- Analyze data to assess credit, underwriting, customer management, and compliance policies against banking laws and regulations.
- Provide peer leadership and help build a collaborative, productive team.
- Improve transaction testing by identifying, investigating, tracking, and resolving exceptions.
- Work with compliance testers and market officers to identify opportunities for outcome-based testing in International Independent Compliance Testing reviews.
- Use project management methods to design, implement, govern, and control outcome-based testing initiatives.
- Partner with risk, compliance, and business teams to support adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Keep accurate records, testing documentation, and evidence for compliance reporting.
- Coordinate data requests for international compliance testing.
- Support recurring Anti-Money Laundering (AML) reviews.
- Use data to support compliance monitoring, risk assessment, and testing.
- Perform outcome-based compliance tests, develop testing methods, and conduct ad hoc analyses across American Express systems.
- Engage regularly with business partners, internal auditors, and other stakeholders.
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least 4–6 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with multiple database platforms.
- Ability to accurately manipulate and analyze large, complex datasets.
- Practical experience with Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and Google BigQuery.
- Familiarity with big data environments and tools for importing, exporting, processing, and managing large datasets.
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods and analytical techniques.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong organization, prioritization, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Availability to work either 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. shifts.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and change management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Sound conceptual thinking and analytical judgment.
- Ability to explore, interpret, and understand new or unfamiliar datasets.
- Strong knowledge of banking systems, processes, and technology environments.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to use generative AI while maintaining accuracy.
- Employment is conditional on successfully completing a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
