- Contribute to water resources, land development, and transportation projects
- Help manage related design projects and technical studies
- Create site layout, grading, drainage, and erosion-control plans
- Design stormwater management, flood mitigation, and water quality systems
- Design and coordinate water, wastewater, and utility infrastructure
- Develop roadway, multimodal, access, and site circulation systems
- Build hydrologic and hydraulic models for stormwater systems
- Produce drainage studies, stormwater master plans, and supporting technical reports
- Evaluate and design municipal neighborhood improvements, including stormwater facilities, roads, sidewalks, utilities, and related site work
- Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and construction documents
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities and conduct quality control for models, calculations, reports, and plans
- Assist with permitting and coordination involving local, state, and federal agencies
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering; a water resources engineering focus is preferred
- Florida Professional Engineer license required, or eligibility to obtain one through reciprocity
- At least six years of experience designing civil engineering projects in water resources, land development, and/or transportation
- Knowledge of infrastructure, site, and roadway design principles and plan preparation
- Experience with site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, utilities, and permitting
- Experience designing roadway geometry, access, multimodal facilities, and site circulation
- Advanced knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater management, and water quality design
- Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling; StormWise and ICPR experience preferred
- Ability to manage or independently deliver multidisciplinary design tasks and projects
- Excellent technical writing ability
- Strong verbal communication, computer, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Ability to travel throughout the Baxter & Woodman service area using personal transportation
- AutoCAD experience required; Civil 3D preferred and ArcGIS experience advantageous
