- Lead complex software solutions through design, development, implementation, enhancement, and lifecycle management.
- Provide technical direction and engineering support across multiple initiatives.
- Translate business and technical needs into scalable, reliable, maintainable, high-quality software.
- Resolve challenging software, integration, performance, and operational issues.
- Advance engineering standards, documentation, design principles, and ongoing improvement.
- Work with engineering, architecture, product, infrastructure, security, and business teams.
- Review and provide quality feedback on other engineers’ designs.
- Develop consistent designs across multiple systems and boundaries.

- Experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting complex software across varied business and technology environments.
- Background providing technical leadership, mentoring, or engineering guidance.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience supporting enterprise modernization, digital transformation, software platform evolution, or strategic technology programs.
- Exposure to software architecture, technology strategy, or enterprise solution delivery.
- Experience contributing to engineering standards, technical governance, or software quality improvement.
- Strong grounding in software design principles.
- Experience building and working with microservices.
- Expertise in Python or another high-level, interpreted, object-oriented programming language.
- Experience building scalable systems on public cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, caching systems such as Redis, message queues such as RMQ or SQS, workflow orchestrators such as Nextflow, and storage technologies including NAS, Postgres, S3, and RDS.
- Experience building agentic AI workflows and multi-agent systems.
- Experience developing and improving continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD).
- Experience with Agile methods and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to deliver high-quality, maintainable code.
- Track record managing complex technical projects across multiple teams.
