Senior Lead C/C++ Developer – IST Payment Switch (Onsite, India)

Lead the development and customization of FIS’s IST payment-switch solutions using C and C++. Support banking and payments clients through implementation, integration, testing, and onboarding.

Tavsif

  • Design, develop, debug, and enhance software products for local, networked, and internet-based environments.
  • Write, test, and troubleshoot application code using current programming languages and technologies.
  • Prepare installation, maintenance, and operational documentation.
  • Work with product managers and users to define system requirements and required changes.
  • Join software design sessions and assess user needs to establish technical requirements.
  • Produce technical specifications from conceptual designs and business requirements.
  • Train and coordinate with internal Client Training, Client Relationship, and Sales teams on system applications.
  • Create or execute project plans, budgets, and schedules, documenting work and outcomes as required.
  • Present information and recommendations to internal and external technical and business audiences.
  • Handle other related responsibilities as assigned.

Talablar

  • At least seven years of relevant information technology experience.
  • At least seven years of experience in software implementation, professional services, application consulting, or system integration.
  • Experience developing and customizing IST Switch, IST Clearing, MAS, or an equivalent EFT switch.
  • Experience collecting and analyzing client business requirements.
  • Knowledge of ISO 8583, EMV, and the payments industry.
  • Experience supporting software testing, deployment, configuration, or client onboarding.
  • Proficiency in C.
  • Proficiency in C++.
  • Experience working with Oracle databases and SQL.
  • Experience with Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
  • Bitbucket, Git, SVN Repository, JIRA, Pay Sim, and VTS Simulator experience is optional.
