Tavsif

  • Build and maintain the systems behind customer-facing products
  • Develop backend services for configurable workflows and automation
  • Create reusable components that support multiple products through shared logic
  • Convert manual operational processes into durable software abstractions
  • Improve the product rapidly using feedback from real practice usage
  • Write tests covering workflow behavior and core system functionality
  • Investigate production issues and strengthen systems against recurring failure modes
  • Deliver changes that are safe, observable, and reversible
  • Shape architectural decisions and engineering standards
  • Support new-engineer onboarding and foster ownership and clarity
  • Work directly with the founding team

Talablar

  • At least 6 years of experience building production web software
  • Strong experience in backend or full-stack engineering
  • Background developing systems with complex business logic or workflows
  • Professional proficiency in Python
  • Professional proficiency in JavaScript
  • Experience designing and using REST APIs
  • Able to work across the stack, with particular strength in backend development
  • Comfortable building rule-based and user-configured systems
  • Based in New York City and available to work in the office Monday through Wednesday
