Senior DevOps Engineer (India, Remote)
Build and maintain NVIDIA’s CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud infrastructure as a senior DevOps engineer. Support operations during India business hours and coordinate handoffs with global SRE teams.
Tavsif
- Join DevOps planning, team meetings, and delivery of projects and roadmap work.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and deployment workflows.
- Triage and resolve pipeline and workflow failures as the primary DevOps contact during India business hours.
- Coordinate across time zones with SRE and development teams, including handoffs to US teams.
- Automate manual work and improve the reliability, speed, and visibility of builds and deployments.
- Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
- Contribute tools, infrastructure as code, and configuration management for DevOps platforms.
- Manage data center infrastructure with NetBox, Foreman, and Mellanox switches.
- Strengthen codebase and platform security through software hardening and secure credential management.
Talablar
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, build and release engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting and automation.
- Experience with Git, GitLab, Perforce, and Gerrit.
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, and Packer.
- Experience with StackStorm, Argo CD, or Flux CD.
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong Linux fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of production release cycles, pipeline testing, and software quality practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across distributed teams and time zones.
