Senior Android Developer – Hybrid, Sweden
Build and evolve custom native Android applications for Nexer’s digital services. Lead Android architecture, technical decisions, and quality-focused development in a senior role.
Tavsif
- Develop, optimize, and maintain custom client services
- Work on a significant, long-term in-house assignment
- Build and evolve native Android applications from concept and architecture through launch and production
- Provide deep technical expertise and strategic thinking in complex development projects
- Own technical decisions and lead architectural discussions
- Deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions
- Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders
- Share experience, provide guidance, and bring fresh perspectives as a senior team member
Talablar
- At least five years of experience developing native Android applications
- Experience building applications from the ground up, from concept, architecture, and implementation through release and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of modern architecture principles and design patterns, such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or comparable approaches
- Experience working with complex system landscapes involving numerous integrations and dependencies
- Ability to make well-founded technical decisions that balance business value with long-term maintainability
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and quality-focused development
- Comfort collaborating closely with product owners, designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders
- Fluent spoken and written Swedish
- Experience with system development in .NET or Java is an advantage, but not required
- Curious, solution-oriented, and motivated by solving complex technical challenges
- Able to combine hands-on development with technical leadership
- Able to take ownership from initial idea through production
