Remote Forensic Civil and Structural Engineer (EI/EIT)

Investigate structural failures and construction defects for U.S. Forensic, preparing technical reports, inspecting sites, and providing expert testimony. This remote role supports projects across the Greenville and Charlotte region.

  • Investigate structural failures and construction defects through detailed forensic assessments
  • Inspect sites and collect data to inform forensic analyses
  • Apply engineering principles to evaluate structural issues
  • Write clear technical reports documenting findings and conclusions
  • Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings when needed
  • Keep current with structural engineering codes, standards, and industry developments
  • Support projects and teams across the Greenville and Charlotte region
  • Handle other duties as assigned

Talablar

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
  • Engineer Intern (EI) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) license preferred; must be able to obtain one if not already licensed
  • Available for road travel multiple days each week, including local trips and regional air travel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines
  • Must qualify as a U.S. person under export control requirements: a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, or person granted refugee or asylum status in the United States
