Onsite Accounts Payable Specialist
Process supplier invoices, payments, and account issues onsite for CHS Inc., a farmer-owned global agribusiness. Support procure-to-pay workflows, reporting, supplier service, and process improvements.
Tavsif
- Process supplier invoices, payments, and related transactions with accuracy and prompt follow-through
- Investigate and resolve invoice, payment, and supplier-account issues, including overdue invoices and processing exceptions
- Act as the main point of contact for supplier questions while maintaining constructive relationships
- Track workflow queues, pending approvals, aging items, and departmental performance metrics
- Determine the causes of payment delays, record findings, and assist with reporting and escalations
- Keep transaction records, supporting materials, and audit-ready files accurate and complete
- Operate financial systems and related tools to process transactions, monitor activity, and support system improvements
- Work with internal partners to resolve invoice and payment matters while following company policies
- Contribute to process-improvement work, documentation revisions, testing, and team projects
- Assist with cross-training, backup coverage, and a collaborative, customer-focused team environment
- Handle additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Talablar
- At least one year of experience in finance, accounting, accounts payable, or accounts receivable
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- May need to complete pre-employment checks, including drug, criminal, motor vehicle, physical-requirement, and FMCSA Clearinghouse screenings
- An associate degree in finance, accounting, statistics, economics, business, business administration, or a related field is preferred
