  • Provide expert guidance on database architecture, infrastructure, security, and data management strategy
  • Define and enforce DBA operating practices, change controls, and continuous process improvements

  • Work with digital product managers to deliver reliable cloud-based solutions
  • Apply programming languages, open-source relational and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
  • Provide technical direction across Agile teams and establish standards for design, development, and operational excellence
  • Collaborate with architects on service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks
  • Refactor systems, reduce technical debt, and improve performance by identifying engineering opportunities
  • Shape long-term technology strategy within a you-build-it, you-own-it operating model

Talablar

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field, including Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, or Engineering
  • At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internships do not count
  • At least 2 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, cloud productivity tools, or virtualization technologies
  • Experience administering SQL Server, tuning high-volume workloads, and designing database architectures
  • Experience configuring and maintaining SQL Server Always On Availability Groups and transactional replication
  • Experience with database security, audit readiness, and SOX or PCI compliance frameworks
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring, alerting, and automated database management platforms
  • At least 7 years of coding experience in more than two of Go, Java, JavaScript or TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala
  • At least 3 years of experience with databases and database management systems
  • At least 3 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, cloud productivity tools, or virtualization technologies
  • At least 4 years of experience contributing to open-source frameworks
  • At least 3 years of experience with front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks
  • At least 4 years of experience creating synchronous and asynchronous APIs
  • At least 3 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing frameworks
