Investigate fire and electrical failures for Pario, Davies’ forensic engineering and environmental consulting business. This hybrid, field-based role supports assignments across Atlantic Canada.

Tavsif

  • Determine, analyze, and document the origin and cause of fires
  • Interview witnesses, service professionals, and local authorities
  • Examine roofs, attics, crawlspaces, partially collapsed and fire-damaged structures, and elevated sites
  • Recognize potential subrogation opportunities
  • Manage investigations from initiation through completion
  • Prepare reports that are clear, precise, and delivered on schedule
  • Determine, analyze, and document the origin and cause of electrical failures
  • Respond to field assignments in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia

Talablar

  • Experience with electrical engineering and fire investigation
  • Able to climb, work at heights, and perform duties in all temperatures
  • Able to evaluate the overall safety of fire-damaged structures
  • Knowledge of CSA, ASTM, and NFPA codes and their application to varied mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
  • Must be located in New Brunswick or Nova Scotia; applicants across Atlantic Canada may apply
