Site Reliability Specialist – Vanguard (Manchester, Hybrid)
Strengthen Vanguard’s UK and European investment platforms through site reliability engineering. Lead resilience testing, incident support, and adoption of SRE practices across European application teams.
Opis
- Run cross-product chaos and resilience experiments to uncover weaknesses before they cause incidents.
- Promote reliability standards, tools, and frameworks with application teams and stakeholders across Europe.
- Help embed site reliability engineering practices by championing cultural change.
- Contribute to Reliability Engineering and Resilience communities of practice.
- Share insights from the wider SRE community with the team.
- Take on special projects and other duties as the role and team’s needs evolve.
- Support incident management and site reliability engineering across UK and European platforms.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, business stakeholders, and global SRE colleagues.
Zahteve
- Strong knowledge of site reliability engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging stakeholders across functions.
- Ability to lead change and encourage teams to adopt reliability standards and practices.
- Expertise with AWS.
- AWS certifications are an advantage.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Able to work in the office three days a week, Tuesday through Thursday.
