Opis

  • Design target infrastructure architectures across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and backup
  • Assess existing environments and map out their transformation
  • Plan hybrid architectures and connections to public cloud platforms
  • Create and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans
  • Guide migration, consolidation, and data center redesign projects
  • Set standards for infrastructure automation and industrialization, including IaC and configuration management
  • Align infrastructure decisions with security needs
  • Help prepare RFP responses with solution designs, value propositions, sizing, and cost estimates
  • Present proposals to clients and make the case for the recommended solutions
  • Clarify technical requirements and help develop proposed roadmaps
  • Create and improve packaged infrastructure offerings
  • Build reusable tools and resources, including architecture repositories, technology matrices, sizing models, and audit toolkits
  • Help shape the Infrastructure practice and document lessons learned
  • Lead the practice’s technical community
  • Take part in technical interviews and assess candidates

Zahteve

  • Master’s-level education (Bac+5), an engineering degree, or equivalent
  • At least 8 years of infrastructure experience, including 3 years in an architecture role
  • Experience with VMware vSphere and openness to alternatives such as Proxmox, Nutanix, and Hyper-V
  • Experience with Linux (RHEL or Debian), Windows Server, and Active Directory
  • Knowledge of SAN/NAS, backup, and replication solutions
  • Networking knowledge covering routing, switching, segmentation, load balancing, and firewalls
  • Automation skills with Ansible, Terraform, and scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Experience with Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, or comparable monitoring and observability tools
  • Hybrid cloud knowledge, including IaaS models and interconnection methods
  • Strong awareness of security topics such as hardening, segmentation, and privileged access management
  • VMware VCP, Red Hat RHCE, Cisco CCNP, or equivalent certifications are an advantage
  • A cloud certification at Associate level or higher is an advantage
  • Ability to take a strategic view while staying connected to operational realities
  • Clear communication and documentation skills
  • Initiative and expertise to contribute to practice development
  • Rigor and strong awareness of risk
