Opis

  • Lead Android features from design through release and production monitoring
  • Create intuitive, accessible mobile experiences for creators and users
  • Build robust API, authentication, caching, and background-processing integrations
  • Help shape Android architecture and technical decisions for maintainability and scale
  • Investigate and fix crashes, performance and memory issues, device-specific behavior, and network problems
  • Track production performance and identify opportunities to improve it
  • Raise app stability, release quality, and the user experience
  • Join the scheduled production-support rotation and own issues through resolution
  • Write clear, maintainable, thoroughly tested code
  • Expand automated coverage of key Android user journeys
  • Review code and offer constructive technical feedback
  • Mentor engineers and advance sound engineering practices
  • Independently design, build, debug, test, and maintain production software
  • Use coding assistants and AI agents responsibly, checking generated code for correctness
  • Safeguard proprietary code and sensitive information when using AI tools
  • Work with Android and iOS engineers, backend engineering, QA, product, and design
  • Report to the Engineering Lead

Zahteve

  • At least five years of professional software engineering, including substantial native Android development
  • Strong command of Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack, Android lifecycle, concurrency, and API integration
  • Background building, releasing, and maintaining production Android apps
  • Strong experience with automated testing
  • Ability to troubleshoot mobile apps across devices, networks, and performance conditions
  • Knowledge of mobile security, accessibility, CI/CD, and app release processes
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving ability
  • Able to work independently and coordinate with product, design, QA, backend, and iOS teams
  • Experience mentoring engineers or offering technical guidance
  • Experience with media, creator, social, community, or social-feed products is a plus
