Project Utilities Engineer – Nestlé, Almere

Lead technical delivery of factory utility systems for Nestlé’s nutritional supplement production expansion in Almere, from design through commissioning and handover. Coordinate HVAC, steam, water and related systems with engineering, production and site teams.

Opis

  • Own assigned factory utility systems through design and handover
  • Support the Utilities Project Lead with project scopes, schedules and budgets
  • Develop concepts and specifications for HVAC, steam, compressed air, water, CIP and wastewater systems
  • Coordinate technical interfaces among utility systems, production lines and site infrastructure
  • Coordinate daily technical work with engineering firms, contractors and equipment suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with Nestlé engineering standards, SHE requirements and local regulations
  • Contribute to layout development and utility integration in the factory design
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, qualification and start-up
  • Identify technical risks related to utilities and recommend mitigations
  • Contribute to energy efficiency, sustainability and continuous improvement efforts
  • Prepare a smooth technical handover to Operations and Maintenance
  • Report to the Utilities Project Manager and collaborate with process engineering, operations, maintenance and external engineering partners

Zahteve

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, electrical or energy systems engineering
  • 3–6 years of utility or infrastructure engineering experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
  • Knowledge of industrial systems including HVAC, steam, compressed air, water treatment, wastewater and CIP
  • Experience delivering capital projects from design through commissioning and start-up
  • Familiarity with hygienic design principles and GMP requirements
  • Experience with Nestlé Engineering and SHE standards is an advantage
  • Understanding of budget tracking and cost control
  • Familiarity with SAP and project management tools is a plus
  • Strong analytical, structured and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
  • Experience in food, pharmaceutical or FMCG industries is an advantage
