Project Regulatory Engineer (Surveyor Background)

Oversee FPSO regulatory compliance for SBM Offshore projects, including regulatory matrices, audits, queries, and corrective actions. Based onsite in Shanghai, the role supports Hull scope delivery and promotes consistent regulatory practices across project teams.

Opis

  • Support the Project Regulatory Manager as deputy in coordinating project regulatory activities.
  • Report to the MPF Regulatory Manager on Hull scope through delivery, working with the MPF team.
  • Apply and interpret regulations consistently across the MPF and project.
  • Develop and maintain the FPSO Regulatory Matrix throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track the matrix in SBM’s Action Tracker and follow up on overdue tasks.
  • Audit regulatory plans across locations and PMT activities.
  • Review evidence for regulatory-management nonconformities, assign corrective actions, and help close them.
  • Maintain the Regulatory Queries Register and drive timely responses.
  • Serve as the contact for regulatory queries at the site.
  • Explain regulatory responsibilities to project personnel and encourage compliance.

Zahteve

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Naval Engineering.
  • Six years of experience in the offshore industry.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of regulatory management.
  • Knowledge of learning from events.
  • Knowledge of incident management.
  • Knowledge of human rights management.
  • Knowledge of hazards and effects management.
  • Knowledge of management of change application.
  • Knowledge of environmental management.
  • Knowledge of internal audit management.
