Lead product designers and shape product strategy at Weave, a healthcare communications platform. Build scalable user experiences and a strong design culture on a U.S.-remote team.
Opis
- Lead and mentor product designers.
- Work with Product and Engineering to shape and prioritize strategy and roadmaps.
- Set the experience vision and advocate for assigned product areas.
- Find strategic UX opportunities across product areas and the wider platform.
- Coach designers to represent user needs, set direction, and shape priorities.
- Lead design reviews that assess craft and strategic direction.
- Grow designers’ craft, judgment, and impact through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Hire designers and create conditions that support team success and retention.
- Identify and coordinate strategic user research.
- Build and maintain expertise across the Weave platform.
- Report to the Director of Product Design.
Zahteve
- At least 2 years of formal design management experience, or 4 years leading a team as a Lead Individual Contributor in a complex product environment.
- At least 5 years of hands-on product design experience at a product-led software company.
- A track record of co-leading product strategy with Engineering, Product Management, and Data teams.
- Expertise in adaptable UX strategy and translating complex data workflows and user insights into flexible, scalable, intuitive design systems.
- A clear, empathetic approach to guiding and inspiring distributed design teams across time zones.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, changing priorities, and emerging technologies such as AI and LLM tools.
- Experience with complex B2B SaaS products involving multi-step workflows or interconnected product areas.
- Direct management experience with full-time Product Designers, including performance and career development responsibilities.
- An online portfolio or recent work case studies; applications without work examples will not be considered.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States and ability to provide valid Form I-9 documentation.
- Successful completion of a background check.
