Pennsylvania Remote Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Contract

Provide telehealth counseling to adults with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and dementia. Work includes assessments, psychotherapy, group facilitation, clinical documentation, and coordinated care.

Opis

  • Conduct virtual psychosocial assessments and individual therapy, using audio-only sessions when needed.
  • Deliver focused, time-limited therapy using CBT, solution-focused methods, motivational interviewing, and behavioral activation.
  • Facilitate therapy and support groups.
  • Advocate for and support caregivers and families of people with dementia or serious mental illness.
  • Record treatment progress and track symptoms in the EMR.
  • Take part in daily team huddles.
  • Identify social needs for the care team to address.
  • Provide coordinated outpatient care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Zahteve

  • Hold an active, unrestricted Pennsylvania LPC license.
  • Have held a full license for at least four years.
  • Be able to bill Medicare.
  • Have experience providing psychotherapy via telehealth.
  • Have experience screening, assessing, and creating treatment plans for common mental health and/or substance use disorders.
  • Have working knowledge of evidence-based brief interventions, including motivational interviewing, problem-solving treatment, and behavioral activation.
  • Have a private home workspace and reliable internet connection.
  • Be available for approximately 20 hours per week; hours may vary with patient volume.
  • Be available for a contract lasting at least six months.
