Opis

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accuracy, timely delivery and effective controls
  • Manage accounts payable, handling supplier queries, payment runs and statement reconciliations
  • Administer company card and employee expenses, and prepare VAT returns
  • Ensure finance policies are followed, transactions are coded correctly and deadlines are met
  • Assist with month-end close by preparing journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Work with the Financial Controller to investigate variances before leadership reporting
  • Find and deliver opportunities to automate finance tasks and improve systems
  • Keep finance processes and controls documented and up to date
  • Respond to audit and year-end information requests

Zahteve

  • Sound knowledge of core accounting principles
  • Qualified or part-qualified, ideally with ACCA, ACA, CIMA or AAT, or equivalent practical experience
  • Demonstrated month-end close experience, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
  • Clear understanding of the full accounts payable process
  • Careful attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies
  • Interest in automation and process improvement
  • Experience with cloud accounting and accounts payable automation tools such as Xero, NetSuite or Dext is an advantage
  • Experience in e-commerce, FMCG or consumer brands is an advantage
  • Experience in a fast-growing scale-up is an advantage
