Controls Technical Specialist I, Industrial Automation
Support PLC, HMI/SCADA, instrumentation, and electrical systems at Nestlé Purina’s Flagstaff pet food plant. Troubleshoot production issues and assist with system upgrades and capital projects.
Opis
- Support control systems for daily manufacturing operations, both independently and with colleagues
- Diagnose electrical and controls issues
- Provide plant maintenance staff with instrumentation, PLC, and HMI/SCADA software and hardware support
- Contribute to control system software and electrical upgrades
- Help implement capital projects
- Keep current with Corporate Control System Standards and Guidelines
- Maintain electrical drawings
- Take part in continuing education
- Manage multiple projects at once
- Follow safe work practices when working with voltages up to 480VAC and 600VDC
Zahteve
- High school diploma or GED, or an associate degree in a technical field
- With a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 years of relevant experience troubleshooting PLC software and hardware and/or HMI systems
- With an associate degree, at least 1 year of relevant experience troubleshooting PLC software and hardware and/or HMI systems
- Experience in controls, automation, electrical work, or industrial maintenance
- Working knowledge of Corporate Control System Standards and Guidelines
- Understanding of the design, programming, and troubleshooting of process instruments, PLCs, and HMIs
- Working knowledge of tools and test equipment used to test, diagnose, repair, and maintain production electrical equipment, instrumentation, and controls
- Knowledge of safe work practices for voltages up to 480VAC and 600VDC
