Supports clinical trials at Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute through study documentation, participant recruitment and visits, and research sample processing.
Opis
- Support the Principal Investigator and study team with delegated clinical trial tasks under senior research staff supervision.
- Maintain organized study files and documentation.
- Help recruit and retain research participants.
- Assist with study visits and procedures under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and senior study staff.
- Process, store, and ship research samples.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Follow applicable policies and standards.
- Protect confidential health information and maintain it securely.
Zahteve
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Some college preferred.
- Medical terminology proficiency preferred.
- Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment.
- Teamwork skills preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills required.
- Knowledge of sample processing techniques preferred.
- Human Subjects Protection (CITI) certification required within 30 days.
- DOT/IATA training required within 30 days.
- Ability to protect confidential health information and maintain it securely.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle, and grasp.
- Ability to travel; the requirements state 10%, while the job details state 25% of the time.
