Web Developer – Germany (Hybrid)
Build and operate Contabo’s cloud-hosting website using Astro, SvelteKit, and TypeScript. Own features, deployments, architecture decisions, and production reliability.
Descriere
- Create and enhance features for Contabo’s website
- Apply AI-assisted, agentic coding in daily development
- Work with the team on website architecture decisions
- Release changes through continuous delivery
- Track application behavior in production
- Diagnose and independently resolve production problems
- Take ownership of features from initial commit through stable operation
- Move ideas into delivery quickly through trust, short decision paths, and minimal bureaucracy
Cerințe
- 3–5 years of practical web development experience in an agency or in-house environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with Astro, SvelteKit in SSG and SSR contexts, and TypeScript
- Experience working with a headless CMS, preferably PayloadCMS
- Experience using Git and CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab
- Practical experience with agentic coding tools such as Claude or OpenCode
- An AI-forward approach to development
- Fluent German and English language skills
- IT-related education or degree, or equivalent practical experience
- A “you build it, you run it” approach with strong ownership and reliability
- Strong analytical ability
- Clear focus on goals and results
- A customer-first approach
- Team-oriented communication skills and openness to change
- Kubernetes, Docker, agile development experience, and terminal expertise with tools such as Neovim or tmux are advantageous
