Descriere

  • Build scalable backend services with Node.js and Go.
  • Process and deliver large volumes of endpoint data to external systems.
  • Design Connect APIs with clear contracts, versioning, and backward compatibility.
  • Develop third-party integrations that handle authentication, rate limits, payload formats, and failures.
  • Ensure reliable delivery through retries, backoff, deduplication, and back-pressure.
  • Create event-driven workflows with NATS and Temporal.
  • Lead technical design for Connect features and align decisions across teams.
  • Document designs for other engineers to implement.
  • Strengthen observability with metrics, logs, traces, and alerts.
  • Write unit tests and work with QA and automation teams on integration and end-to-end testing.
  • Investigate production incidents, find root causes, and implement preventive fixes.
  • Mentor engineers and establish standards for design, testing, and operations.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience building and operating production backend services.
  • A record of leading technical designs and influencing decisions beyond your team.
  • Strong skills in Go or Node.js and willingness to work with both.
  • Experience designing REST, GraphQL, or gRPC APIs.
  • Experience building event-driven systems with NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar tools, and multi-step workflows.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and SaaS products, including OAuth.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Azure or AWS.
  • Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases, Git, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot.
  • Eligibility to obtain at least FedRAMP clearance.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • A degree in computer science or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Experience with NATS, Temporal, or a comparable workflow orchestration tool is a plus.
  • Experience with SIEM or ITSM platforms, security or endpoint data is a plus.
  • Experience with React, TypeScript, or multi-tenant SaaS services is a plus.
  • Sound judgment in balancing delivery speed with long-term maintainability and supportability.
  • Commitment to shared quality ownership and writing tests alongside code.
  • Strong debugging skills, including resolving production incidents under pressure and addressing root causes.
  • Comfort mentoring colleagues and raising team standards.
