Senior Project Accounting Manager
Lead accounting, forecasting, billing, and financial reporting for Energy Vault’s energy storage projects. Support project controls from setup through closeout, working with project delivery and finance teams.
Descriere
- Lead project accounting activities and processes.
- Provide financial and business analysis for the development of energy storage solutions.
- Oversee project accounting from initial setup through closeout.
- Assess project performance and share analysis with project managers, finance, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain project records in NetSuite, including financial codes, activity codes, cost categories, and reporting structures.
- Prepare project cost reports, budget comparisons, committed cost schedules, and explanations of variances.
- Track purchase orders, receipts, vendor commitments, accruals, and other project costs.
- Support monthly estimate-at-completion preparation, percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, billing, cash flow forecasts, capital and operating expense tracking, and financial reporting.
- Maintain project records, audit trails, data rooms, and supporting files for audits, SOX controls, revenue recognition, tax credit reviews, and financing due diligence.
- Assist with recurring and ad hoc reporting, reconciliations, KPI summaries, project status reports, and variance analysis.
- Support NetSuite, Nexonia, and related accounting workflows with data checks, coding reviews, reporting, and issue identification.
- Spot data inconsistencies, process gaps, and opportunities to strengthen controls.
- Work with project accounting leadership, FP&A, delivery teams, and finance stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field, or equivalent.
- CPA or MBA preferred.
- Substantial experience in project accounting.
- Eight to ten years of progressively responsible accounting or finance experience.
- Proficiency with Excel.
- Strong analytical and technical accounting capabilities.
- Able to work independently, solve problems, and manage multiple projects.
- Collaborative approach and environmentally conscious outlook.
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite modules.
- Able to travel domestically or internationally up to 10%.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.
- Interest in sustainability and the company’s mission and vision is a plus.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
