Senior Payment Systems Analyst at FinteqHub — Remote Poland
Design and improve payment workflows, APIs, integrations, and secure transaction processing for FinteqHub’s payment orchestration platform. Help strengthen payment reliability, compliance, and success across providers.
Descriere
- Analyze and design payment workflows and Payment Gateway capabilities
- Convert business requirements into precise technical solutions and specifications
- Document domain entities, logical data models, use cases, web forms, API specifications, permissions, logs, business rules, edge cases, and other system behavior
- Analyze integrations with payment providers and banks
- Investigate L3 incidents and change requests to identify necessary system changes
- Resolve complex payment-domain challenges involving success rates, reliability, security, asynchronous processing, retries, idempotency, and data inconsistencies
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to prepare mockups based on business and system requirements
- Contribute to architecture and solution design alongside architects, engineers, and QA specialists
- Recommend technically viable solutions, explain trade-offs, and support API and system design decisions
- Take part in peer reviews of technical specifications
- Maintain and enhance documentation, specification templates, and standards
Cerințe
- At least 3 years of experience as a System Analyst, ideally working with payment systems, payment gateways, fintech, or banking
- Demonstrated experience designing APIs, logical data models, and integrations across different patterns
- Practical experience with microservices architecture
- Strong BPMN and UML modelling skills, including Sequence, State Machine, Use Case, and Class diagrams
- Proficiency with Postman, browser DevTools, and JSON editors
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, own tasks, remain effective as priorities shift, and raise risks early
- English proficiency at B1+ level for documentation writing
- Fluent Russian for communication within the team
- Knowledge of payment security, compliance, and regulatory standards including PCI DSS, KYC, AML, and GDPR
- Understanding of complete payment flows, including authorization, capture, refunds, chargebacks, 3DS, withdrawals, and reconciliation
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
