Descriere

Lead the design of modular, scalable, highly available backend services
Balance reliability, security, performance, and cost across engineering decisions
Write and review .NET/C# code while establishing technical standards
Mentor engineers throughout system design and implementation
Architect and operate distributed AWS systems with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes/ECS
Own relational and NoSQL data architecture
Lead testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and defect resolution efforts
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 3–6 engineers
Design and operate services that power interactions with the VIZIO OS platform

Cerințe

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of software engineering or related experience, or 7 years of such experience
At least 2 years of supervisory experience
Expertise in .NET and C#
Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and performance-tune production code
Experience building and supporting reliable, continuously available backend services
Strong knowledge of scalable distributed systems and object-oriented design
Hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform or other infrastructure as code, Docker, and Kubernetes or ECS
Experience with relational databases including Postgres and MySQL, plus NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch
Working knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud cost optimization
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineers while remaining technically hands-on
