Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Azure and Microsoft 365

Descriere

  • Design and maintain enterprise infrastructure solutions, including their documentation.
  • Operate secure, highly available IT systems for mission-critical work.
  • Install and manage virtualization platforms, operating systems, applications, and related infrastructure.
  • Diagnose complex issues across compute, networks, storage, virtualization, and enterprise applications.
  • Find opportunities to improve infrastructure efficiency.
  • Create and maintain infrastructure standards, architecture records, and standard operating procedures.
  • Plan and deliver infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, and technology refreshes.
  • Guide engineering teams and senior leaders on technical strategy.
  • Assess technical environments and review architectures.
  • Coordinate environment changes through the request for change process.
  • Work with cybersecurity teams on system accreditation materials, security checklists, STIG compliance, diagrams, and related documentation.
  • Take part in vulnerability assessments, environment scans, penetration tests, and security audits.
  • Coach junior engineers and encourage sound infrastructure practices.
  • Meet with government customers, civilian staff, and contractor teams on technical matters.
  • Support the Defense Enterprise Office Solution Cloud Service Offering across cloud and on-premises environments.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 services.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
  • Experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS.
  • Windows Server administration experience.
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Experience deploying and managing virtual hosts.
  • Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery design.
  • Experience with Azure Key Vault.
  • Experience with Azure Disk Encryption or Disk Encryption Sets.
  • Experience hardening systems and remediating vulnerabilities.
  • Knowledge of the DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide.
  • Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Networks, NSGs, ASGs, Virtual Network Gateway, and Azure Firewall.
  • Group Policy management experience.
  • Knowledge of enterprise IT operations, performance optimization, capacity planning, infrastructure monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Experience planning enterprise backup and disaster recovery.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
