Senior Highways Engineer (Onsite, Noida)

Design and deliver highway, drainage, and active-travel infrastructure projects at Mott MacDonald in Noida. Lead technical teams supporting major projects within a global engineering consultancy.

Descriere

  • Deliver highway and drainage projects
  • Complete assigned work to required quality, schedule, and budgeted hours
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to create designs that meet client needs and regulatory requirements
  • Follow applicable industry standards and safety regulations
  • Apply Mott MacDonald’s quality management procedures to all work
  • Provide technical mentoring to the Highways team and wider colleagues
  • Lead knowledge management and digital delivery initiatives
  • Supervise and mentor staff while supporting their professional growth and career progression
  • Carry out assigned line-management duties
  • Promote right-first-time delivery and help Project Managers and Principals deliver projects effectively
  • Manage project or bid workloads, forecasts, team utilisation, and staff allocation
  • Keep up to date with industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues and external clients
  • Provide technical advice within multidisciplinary project teams

Cerințe

  • Degree in civil engineering, such as BE, B.Tech., ME, or M.Tech.
  • At least 8 years of experience in drainage and road design
  • Demonstrated commitment to managing health, safety, welfare, and Safety by Design
  • Ability to produce high-quality design models, drawings, calculations, reports, and specifications
  • Strong knowledge of applicable standards, including DMRB and Local Highway Authority requirements
  • Experience managing project teams and providing technical leadership
  • Experience preparing bid proposals and issuing early warning notices
  • Track record of delivering work within time and cost constraints
  • Experience working with National Highways, Network Rail, and Local Highways Authorities
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical expertise in surface water and foul water drainage design
  • Able to work independently and contribute to larger project teams with minimal supervision
  • Experience producing concept and detailed 2D and 3D car park layouts and private street designs
  • Experience with three-dimensional highway design tools such as Civil 3D and InfoDrainage
  • Experience coordinating utilities and working with contractors
  • Ability to perform independent technical checks
  • General IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and ProjectWise
  • Valid Indian right-to-work documentation, such as a passport, voter ID, or birth certificate
  • Chartered Engineer status with ICE or CIHT is advantageous
