Senior Federal Presales Systems Engineer, Networking
Lead HPE Networking solution design and technical sales for Federal Systems Integrators and their government customers. Support strategic pursuits involving secure enterprise, data center, and WAN architectures across the United States.
Descriere
- Serve as the lead technical advisor to Federal Systems Integrators and their government customers.
- Work with account managers and partner teams to develop, qualify, and close strategic opportunities.
- Design end-to-end solutions for campus and branch networks, data center networking, routing and WAN, Zero Trust, security, network access control, and segmentation.
- Lead technical discovery and translate requirements into scalable architectures and roadmaps.
- Develop and present technical proposals, architectures, RFP and RFI responses, and solution narratives.
- Present to customers and deliver demonstrations, workshops, and proofs of concept.
- Differentiate HPE Networking solutions in multi-vendor pursuits led by Federal Systems Integrators.
- Work with engineering, services, and product teams to address complex technical challenges.
- Build relationships with partner engineers and architects, capture and program managers, and government technical stakeholders.
- Enable partners and support joint go-to-market efforts.
- Keep abreast of federal developments in Zero Trust, AI-driven networking, and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Travel to partner and customer sites around the United States as needed.
Cerințe
- At least seven years of experience in networking presales engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Strong experience with enterprise and campus LAN/WLAN networking.
- Strong experience with data center networking, including EVPN/VXLAN, spine-leaf architectures, and segmentation.
- Strong experience with routing and WAN technologies, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and SD-WAN.
- Strong experience with network security and Zero Trust architectures.
- Hands-on experience with HPE Aruba CX switching and/or Juniper technologies, including Junos or Mist, is required.
- Experience with network access control and security platforms such as Aruba ClearPass, Juniper Access Assurance, or Cisco ISE.
- Experience with VPN technologies such as DMVPN, ADVPN, or GroupVPN.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or IT, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel 40% of the time.
- Experience with APIs, automation, and programmability is preferred.
- Experience with Juniper SRX or comparable firewall platforms is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting large-scale, multi-vendor federal programs led by Federal Systems Integrators is preferred.
- Experience supporting or working with Federal Systems Integrators or defense contractors is preferred.
- Familiarity with RFP processes, capture strategy, and technical volumes is preferred.
- Understanding of federal compliance frameworks, including Zero Trust, RMF, and IL environments, is preferred.
- Experience with AI-driven networking platforms such as Mist AI or Aruba Central is preferred.
