Descriere

  • Create and maintain tools that support software releases to PCMI clients.
  • Manage TeamCity and Octopus installations and existing build and deployment pipelines.
  • Improve current pipelines and develop Azure DevOps pipelines for new applications.
  • Coordinate the release of PCMI software to clients.
  • Provide expertise in software build and delivery and DevOps practices.
  • Diagnose build and deployment problems.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, TeamCity, and Octopus Deploy.
  • Develop infrastructure as code to make infrastructure changes consistent and reliable.
  • Operate and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Work with development, QA, and operations teams.
  • Investigate and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments.
  • Deploy and manage observability and alerting tools.
  • Contribute to system security and compliance improvements.
  • Record internal processes and procedures.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least five years of experience in a Release Engineer or DevOps Engineer role.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Bicep, Terraform, TeamCity, Octopus, PowerShell, .NET, .NET Framework, MSSQL, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Dynatrace, or a comparable observability stack.
  • Strong understanding of Git version control.
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD tools, particularly TeamCity and Octopus Deploy.
  • Proficiency in scripting, especially PowerShell.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
  • Experience administering Windows Server.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Chicagoland-based candidates must work from the Park Ridge, Illinois office two days per week.
