Senior Data Engineer GCP BigQuery Poland Remote

Join Avenga as a Senior Data Engineer focused on building BigQuery and Dataform pipelines in a fully remote Poland-based role. You will migrate ETL workflows and help modernize analytics across cloud and on-premises environments.

Descriere

  • Build scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform, with emphasis on BigQuery and Dataform.
  • Create, optimize, and maintain data models, SQL code, ETL/ELT pipelines, and transformation workflows.
  • Help migrate ETL processes from Informatica to BigQuery and Dataform.
  • Automate migration, testing, and regression-testing activities with Python and SQL.
  • Maintain orchestration, CI/CD, monitoring, access management, authentication, and authorization processes.
  • Support integrations between Google Cloud and on-premises systems.
  • Help modernize reporting and analytics solutions.

Cerințe

  • Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services, especially BigQuery and Dataform.
  • Understanding of data modeling, data pipelines, and SQL development.
  • Knowledge of orchestration, CI/CD practices, and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of user access and permissions management.
  • Understanding of integrations between cloud and on-premises applications.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills, including migration-process implementation, optimization, automation, testing, and regression testing.
  • Experience with Informatica and migrating ETL processes to BigQuery or Dataform is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with QLIK or comparable solutions in the Google Cloud ecosystem is a plus.
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills.
