Descriere

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with technology firms, service providers, vendors, and other partners.
  • Lead strategic partnership negotiations and ongoing management, and structure complex B2B agreements.
  • Counsel cross-functional teams on partnership structures, compliance, and dispute resolution.
  • Review product initiatives, designs, features, and disclosures for compliance with consumer protection laws.
  • Manage Misfits Market’s privacy program and address changing regulatory requirements.
  • Advise on intellectual property, advertising, food safety, regulatory compliance, and other legal matters.
  • Assess business and legal risks and develop practical mitigation strategies.
  • Support corporate governance and strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity matters, and other financings.
  • Report to the General Counsel.

Cerințe

  • Bring 6–12 years of relevant experience, ideally combining law firm work with in-house experience at a fast-paced technology, food, or consumer goods company.
  • Stay organized and resourceful while managing competing priorities under pressure in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced setting.
  • Understand business needs and partner across the company to find creative solutions, balancing legal and business risks.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively, with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Explain legal matters clearly to non-legal colleagues and work well both independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrate strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Have experience using legal AI tools to streamline research, contract review, and other legal workflows.
  • Be enthusiastic about adopting emerging technology to improve efficiency.
  • Show a strong interest in learning the business and new areas of law relevant to Misfits Market.
  • Care about expanding access to high-quality food and helping reduce food waste.
