  • Create original editorial and product content for Paddle’s customer-focused content channels
  • Develop compelling angles for product stories, launches, campaigns and customer features
  • Turn product strategy, customer needs and technical detail into clear stories that support understanding and adoption
  • Use SEO practices while keeping content original, clear and readable
  • Draw on audience research, search trends and performance data to guide content choices
  • Tailor ideas to different formats, audiences and channels
  • Partner with Product, Product Marketing, Communications, Design and subject-matter experts
  • Work with Design and cross-functional colleagues in Figma to develop ideas
  • Use AI tools with care, applying human judgment to maintain accuracy and originality
  • Help uphold Paddle’s voice and improve its editorial quality and writing standards
  • Contribute to Paddle, a Merchant of Record offering payment infrastructure to digital product companies and software sellers worldwide

  • A writer, journalist, editor or content specialist with substantial published work across a range of channels
  • Comfort writing about technology, business or complex topics, with an ability to find the human perspective
  • Can turn product strategy, customer interviews, research and expert contributions into engaging stories
  • Willing to question a brief when a stronger angle or more useful approach would serve the story
  • Knowledge of SEO fundamentals
  • Understands content performance and how it can guide future decisions
  • Able to balance multiple assignments and deadlines without sacrificing quality
