Descriere

  • Own architecture for large-scale distributed data, streaming, and integration solutions.
  • Serve as lead architect for distributed data, integration, and platform solutions.
  • Set architectural direction, governance, design assurance, and technical leadership across initiatives.
  • Define target architecture aligned with enterprise strategy, engineering standards, and long-term platform goals.
  • Lead architecture for the Enterprise Data Lake, Operational Datastore, and related services in Cloudera CDP on AWS.
  • Design and document scalable data and streaming solutions across Cloudera, Kafka, APIs, and cloud platforms.
  • Establish patterns for data ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption.
  • Provide architectural oversight throughout solution delivery.
  • Partner with engineers to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, supportable, deliverable, and aligned with enterprise principles.
  • Review technical designs prepared by engineering teams.
  • Assess technical risks, dependencies, assumptions, non-functional requirements, and design trade-offs.
  • Support delivery planning by dividing solutions into iterative increments and sprint-level outcomes.
  • Present solution designs to architecture review boards and governance forums.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and enterprise architects.
  • Create and advance architectural patterns, engineering standards, and best practices across the data platform ecosystem.

Cerințe

  • Bring 10+ years of IT experience, including substantial delivery experience with data platforms, integration, or distributed systems.
  • Have architected streaming or real-time data applications using Kafka or comparable event-streaming technology.
  • Understand Kafka consumer architecture, including consumer groups, offsets, retries, dead-letter handling, ordering, partitioning, and scaling.
  • Have designed solutions on Cloudera CDH/CDP or possess substantial experience with comparable enterprise distributed data platforms.
  • Have designed and delivered large-scale data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption patterns.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of batch and real-time processing architectures.
  • Have worked in complex enterprise environments involving multiple systems, vendors, platforms, and governance processes.
  • Understand non-functional concerns such as performance, scalability, resilience, security, observability, and operational support.
  • Have led architecture across multiple workstreams, programs, or delivery teams.
  • Have mentored architects, senior engineers, or technical leads and shaped technical decisions.
  • Bring expertise in Cloudera CDH/CDP distributed data platforms and data lake architecture, or equivalent technologies.
  • Understand event streaming and real-time integration technologies, including Kafka and related messaging patterns.
  • Have experience with large-scale processing and transformation frameworks such as Spark, Flink, Hive, Impala, or equivalents.
  • Be proficient with Java, Spring Boot, and REST services.
  • Know NoSQL and distributed storage technologies such as HBase, Cassandra, or equivalent platforms.
  • Have experience with cloud services, preferably AWS.
  • Understand DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and resilience practices.
