Senior Backend Lead Developer, C#/.NET

Lead backend architecture and hands-on development for Vivecti Group’s digital healthcare platforms. Guide C#/.NET engineering, Kubernetes operations, DevOps practices, and software solutions across the group.

Descriere

  • Lead backend architecture and engineering for group applications, supporting subsidiaries and new software initiatives.
  • Assess existing systems, identify technical opportunities, and shape scalable, sustainable architectures.
  • Build robust backend services and REST APIs with C# and .NET 8+.
  • Specify API contracts using the OpenAPI standard.
  • Connect varied data sources and build asynchronous, event-driven integrations with brokers such as RabbitMQ.
  • Bring DevOps expertise to the team and oversee applications from development through production operations.
  • Package applications in containers and plan Docker images, build workflows, and deployment approaches.
  • Deploy and run Kubernetes workloads in self-hosted or managed environments, handling scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines that make releases automated, repeatable, and subject to quality gates.
  • Partner with the team on architecture and technology choices, then drive them through implementation.
  • Modernize systems incrementally and move on-premises solutions to contemporary platform architectures.
  • Set and refine engineering standards for code quality, testing, performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Review code, evaluate technical work, and give constructive feedback.
  • Mentor developers and help them grow professionally.
  • Investigate complex defects and performance or reliability problems, and deliver durable fixes.
  • Improve MySQL and PostgreSQL databases for performance, maintainability, and scale.
  • Encourage responsible use of generative AI for refactoring, test creation, documentation, and quality checks.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and group stakeholders to deliver technical value.
  • Contribute directly to the codebase in this hands-on leadership position.

Cerințe

  • Degree or vocational training in computer science, business informatics, or a related discipline.
  • At least five years in a technical leadership position, such as Lead Developer, Tech Lead, or Software Architect, with responsibility for an application or development team.
  • Advanced proficiency in C# and .NET 8+.
  • Experience using Entity Framework Core.
  • Experience building REST APIs with OpenAPI or Swagger.
  • Strong background in software architecture, design patterns, Clean Code, and legacy system modernization.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks such as xUnit.
  • Experience with static analysis tools such as Roslyn Analyzers.
  • Practical DevOps experience deploying and operating applications.
  • Strong Docker and Kubernetes skills, including deployment setup and operational ownership.
  • Experience with self-hosted or self-managed Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Experience with managed environments in larger organizations is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana is a plus.
  • Experience with event-driven design and message brokers, ideally RabbitMQ.
  • Strong MySQL and/or PostgreSQL skills, including query and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Redis or Elasticsearch/OpenSearch is a plus.
  • Background in B2B or enterprise software, data platforms, or high-volume business applications.
  • Responsible, considered use of AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical ideas clearly in German and English.
  • A strong sense of ownership, decisiveness, and skill in reconciling different technical viewpoints.
  • An independent, solution-focused working style and commitment to high technical standards.
