Senior Android/iOS Mobile Developer – Colombia Remote

Descriere

  • Collaborate with developers and engineers to rebuild and modernize native Android and iOS applications
  • Deliver complete mobile features across user experience, offline-first data management, API integrations, device capabilities, automated testing, and production releases
  • Maintain native Android and iOS functionality with consistent behavior, design, and user experience
  • Lead the Android rebuild with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
  • Advance iOS modernization with Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and RxSwift
  • Develop offline-first functionality with encrypted storage, mutation queues, background synchronization, retries, attachment uploads, and conflict resolution
  • Connect mobile applications to APIs supporting authentication, records, forms, workflows, files, and attachments
  • Work with shared JavaScript business logic and troubleshoot issues across native and JavaScript layers
  • Integrate device features including camera, barcode scanning, location, audio, biometrics, and document pickers
  • Create accessible phone and tablet experiences within an established design system
  • Develop unit, screenshot, integration, and end-to-end automated tests
  • Support CI, automated device testing, and mobile release pipelines
  • Apply AI coding agents to investigation, planning, implementation, testing, and code review
  • Develop and refine agent harnesses covering repository guidance, tools, execution environments, permissions, and validation workflows
  • Evaluate AI-generated changes through code review, automated tests, emulator checks, and functional-parity verification

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • At least five years of professional software development experience focused on mobile applications
  • Strong Android development skills with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Material 3, coroutines, and Flow
  • Hands-on experience with Hilt, Retrofit, OkHttp, Room, SQLCipher, DataStore, and WorkManager
  • Experience managing multi-module Gradle projects and unidirectional data-flow approaches such as MVI
  • Professional experience developing iOS applications with Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI
  • Ability to contribute effectively to an existing RxSwift-based application
  • Experience with Realm, Keychain, or comparable secure-storage solutions
  • Strong background designing offline-first mobile applications
  • Experience integrating REST APIs and native device capabilities
  • Ability to read and debug JavaScript used for shared mobile business logic
  • Experience creating automated mobile tests
  • Experience with GitLab CI or comparable CI/CD systems
  • Experience using Firebase Test Lab, BrowserStack, or similar device-testing services
  • Professional experience with AI coding agents and validating their generated output
  • Understanding of agent harness engineering, including context preparation, instructions, tooling, safeguards, and feedback loops
  • Strong communication, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities
  • Bonus: Experience with fastlane and TestFlight
  • Bonus: Experience with white-label applications and mobile release engineering
  • Bonus: Experience with no-code, low-code, or field-service platforms
  • Bonus: Experience maintaining mobile design systems
