Remote Data Engineer at Stefanini Brasil

Descriere

  • Analyze complex datasets to identify and interpret trends and patterns
  • Create and implement ER, star schema, and snowflake schema data models
  • Build and maintain data pipelines with Apache Airflow
  • Run advanced ETL and ELT workflows using Python, Apache Spark, Sqoop, Scala, Databricks, and SQL
  • Manage source control and delivery workflows with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and Terraform infrastructure as code
  • Work with data and platform components across AWS and Azure environments
  • Improve scripts, data components, and query performance
  • Filter and cleanse datasets using reports and performance and quality metrics
  • Prepare datasets for predictive and prescriptive modeling
  • Create and deploy data dashboards
  • Communicate insights through visualizations and data storytelling
  • Help define and document architecture roadmaps and technical standards
  • Partner with management to prioritize business and information requirements
  • Assist project teams and other department members
  • Follow procedures, legal requirements, standards, instructions, and Health, Safety, and Environmental policies

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or Information Systems is required
  • At least five years of professional experience
  • Advanced Databricks proficiency preferred
  • Advanced expertise in data engineering, Big Data, or analytics preferred
  • Basic English proficiency
  • Technical knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data mining
  • Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data
  • Knowledge of SQL, R, Python, Scala, and Java
  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Understanding of data visualization and storytelling methods
  • Knowledge of agile approaches including Scrum, Lean, and Kanban
  • Basic knowledge of machine learning algorithms
  • Basic understanding of mathematical and statistical calculations
  • Knowledge of Big Data, business intelligence, data warehousing, and ETL
  • Understanding of data architecture designs
  • Knowledge of observability tools
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, commitment, organization, attention to detail, resilience, and analytical and investigative abilities
