Reliability Engineer (DevOps) - Remote Contract

SRE/DevOps engineer responsible for the reliability of Finaya’s critical financial services. The role covers AWS, Kubernetes, observability, incident response, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.

Descriere

  • Maintain the reliability, availability, security, and scalability of critical services
  • Administer and maintain AWS environments and Kubernetes clusters
  • Monitor systems and strengthen observability with Datadog, Dynatrace, Elasticsearch, or Signoz
  • Plan and oversee infrastructure upgrades and lifecycle management
  • Support incident response from investigation through post-mortem, prioritizing permanent root-cause resolution
  • Recommend improvements to processes, tooling, and system architecture
  • Build and continuously enhance CI/CD pipelines
  • Develop and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure as code
  • Automate recurring operational work with Python, Go, or Shell
  • Apply security best practices across infrastructure and delivery pipelines
  • Work closely with development, security, compliance, and client teams
  • Join client rituals, lead GMUDs, and create technical documentation

Cerințe

  • At least three years of hands-on Kubernetes and cluster management experience
  • Strong working knowledge of AWS
  • Demonstrated experience implementing infrastructure as code with Terraform
  • Experience with observability and log management platforms such as Datadog, Dynatrace, ELK, or Signoz
  • Advanced understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
  • Experience supporting mission-critical, highly available environments
  • Knowledge of security for cloud applications and delivery pipelines
  • Experience applying DevOps practices and agile methodologies
  • Python or Go experience for automation and pipeline development is a plus
  • Experience in regulated settings, including financial services and Central Bank regulations, is a plus
