Support pricing models, account indications, and management analytics as a Product Actuarial Intern. Build insurance industry experience through Encova Insurance’s structured summer internship program.
Descriere
- Validate large-account pricing models for underwriters.
- Help the Product Actuarial team prepare pricing indications for individual large accounts.
- Support the execution, maintenance, and growth of management reports and analytics under the guidance of Product Actuarial staff.
- Respond to routine service and research requests.
- Complete other assigned tasks.
- Work with Encova associates on real-world insurance cases.
Cerințe
- Have completed at least 60 college credit hours and remain enrolled at an accredited college or university.
- Be actively pursuing a degree.
- A major in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field is preferred.
- Be proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications.
- Be able to explain complex topics to audiences with varied backgrounds.
- Respond effectively to customer needs.
- Work well with colleagues across departments and technical disciplines.
- Manage multiple tasks at once.
- Pay close attention to detail.
- Be available to work at least 40 hours per week.
- Live and work in one of Encova Insurance’s eligible U.S. states.
