Descriere

  • Lead sourcing activities across assigned technology categories, including RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with IT, Security, Engineering, and business teams to turn technology needs into sourcing requirements.
  • Negotiate vendor pricing, contractual terms, and service-level commitments.
  • Track requisitions and contracts from approval through negotiation and execution.
  • Research markets and benchmark pricing to guide vendor selection and sourcing decisions.
  • Assist with vendor performance assessments and renewal planning.
  • Find opportunities to reduce costs and avoid unnecessary spending.
  • Follow procurement policies, sourcing procedures, and contract standards.
  • Keep complete records of sourcing decisions, contract terms, and vendor communications.
  • Manage sourcing, vendor relationships, and category strategy for software, hardware, and technology professional services.
  • Progress toward handling more complex negotiations and broader category ownership.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, or a related discipline, or comparable professional experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in procurement, category management, sourcing, or vendor management.
  • Experience or exposure to technology categories such as software, hardware, or IT services.
  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
  • Strong analytical ability when assessing pricing, contractual terms, and total cost of ownership.
  • Working knowledge of requisition-to-PO processes, sourcing events, and contract lifecycle management.
  • Clear communication and effective stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proficiency with procurement or ERP platforms such as Workday, SAP Ariba, Coupa, or comparable systems.
  • Familiarity with SaaS licensing, cloud services, hardware, and IT professional services.
  • Knowledge of software licensing models and foundational data security and privacy contract terms.
  • Experience supporting or participating in technology vendor RFPs.
