Descriere

  • Build, test, optimize, and maintain Avid Media solutions
  • Address complex engineering problems across the product
  • Analyze engine behavior in virtualized environments
  • Investigate data integrity, performance, scalability, and system stability issues
  • Analyze end-to-end workflows connecting web applications, backend services, and message-oriented systems
  • Convert high-level functional requirements into detailed technical designs
  • Guide implementation through completion with participating teams
  • Coordinate development activities and deliverables across global, multi-site teams

Cerințe

  • At least 8 years of software development experience
  • Extensive experience with C and C++, including STL, Boost, generics, algorithms, data structures, Microsoft Visual Studio, Win32 API, and COM/DCOM
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Cluster environments, Apache plugin and module flows, and application development and debugging in virtualized environments such as VMware
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and continuous integration and deployment using GitHub
  • Knowledge of REST concepts and architectures, with the ability to assess complex systems and complete workflows
  • Ability to diagnose performance problems and implement solutions that improve product performance, scalability, and stability
  • Ability to analyze requirements, communicate effectively with product owners and distributed teams, and coordinate work in a multi-site environment
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Preferred: experience with Postgres and other SQL databases
  • Preferred: experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Microsoft Copilot
  • Preferred: Golang programming experience
  • Preferred: experience deploying cloud-based SaaS with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Preferred: experience with Agile development practices
  • Preferred: experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus
