- Build, test, optimize, and maintain Avid Media solutions
- Address complex engineering problems across the product
- Analyze engine behavior in virtualized environments
- Investigate data integrity, performance, scalability, and system stability issues
- Analyze end-to-end workflows connecting web applications, backend services, and message-oriented systems
- Convert high-level functional requirements into detailed technical designs
- Guide implementation through completion with participating teams
- Coordinate development activities and deliverables across global, multi-site teams
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least 8 years of software development experience
- Extensive experience with C and C++, including STL, Boost, generics, algorithms, data structures, Microsoft Visual Studio, Win32 API, and COM/DCOM
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Cluster environments, Apache plugin and module flows, and application development and debugging in virtualized environments such as VMware
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and continuous integration and deployment using GitHub
- Knowledge of REST concepts and architectures, with the ability to assess complex systems and complete workflows
- Ability to diagnose performance problems and implement solutions that improve product performance, scalability, and stability
- Ability to analyze requirements, communicate effectively with product owners and distributed teams, and coordinate work in a multi-site environment
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Preferred: experience with Postgres and other SQL databases
- Preferred: experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Microsoft Copilot
- Preferred: Golang programming experience
- Preferred: experience deploying cloud-based SaaS with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Preferred: experience with Agile development practices
- Preferred: experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus
