Gordon Food Service is seeking an outside food sales representative to grow restaurant accounts in the Fort Myers and Naples area. The role focuses on territory sales, customer relationships, new business development, and foodservice product solutions.

Descriere

  • Build customer relationships, pursue new business, and deliver practical solutions.
  • Lead sales and account-management activities for current and prospective customers in the assigned territory.
  • Monitor restaurant-industry and market trends.
  • Research and qualify potential customers.
  • Create and present sales strategies featuring Gordon Food Service products, services, values, and solutions.
  • Visit territory customers on weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly schedules.
  • Conduct business reviews to uncover customer needs and opportunities for sales growth.
  • Train customers on Gordon Food Service products and offerings.
  • Find ways to increase customer value through relevant products and services.
  • Pursue new accounts while deepening relationships with existing customers.
  • Arrange and coordinate customer visits.
  • Keep customers informed about order status and processing.
  • Complete e-learning, classroom training, video roleplays, job shadowing, and peer mentoring during the first 90 days.
  • Develop proficiency in Gordon Food Service systems, processes, tools, products, sales methods, relationship practices, and territory-management strategies.

Cerințe

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • At least one year of sales, business, or foodservice experience.
  • A valid state driver's license and a safe driving history.
  • Eligibility to obtain food safety certification.
  • A bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate is preferred.
  • Veterans and active-duty military members are encouraged to apply.
  • Employees of Gordon Food Service customers must provide a management support letter if selected for an interview.
