Descriere

  • Lead design from discovery and research through delivery for the platform’s most complex, cross-functional challenges.
  • Shape ambiguous problems and new business areas into clear product direction.
  • Work with product, client success, and sales to balance customer needs with business goals.
  • Create data-rich workflows that help underwriters identify key information and act with confidence.
  • Define how AI communicates confidence and sources while keeping underwriters in control.
  • Develop scalable design patterns as the platform expands into new lines of business.
  • Use AI and rapid prototyping tools to turn ideas into validated concepts.
  • Strengthen design quality through critique, mentorship, and shared standards.
  • Collaborate with the existing Lead Designer, product managers, and engineers.
  • Report to the Head of Product.

Cerințe

  • At least seven years designing digital products for B2B, data-rich, or productivity software companies.
  • Experience in a rapidly scaling startup with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Experience designing AI-powered tools.
  • Experience scaling an existing platform’s user experience to support new and expanding workflows.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating skill in simplifying complex products, designing thoughtful interfaces, and applying clear interaction patterns.
  • Systems thinking and experience shaping or contributing to design systems.
  • Strong visual design skills and attention to information hierarchy, interaction, and layout.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A curious, adaptable approach to ambiguous problems.
  • Experience with Material UI or similar design systems is a plus.
  • Experience in InsurTech, FinTech, or another highly regulated industry is a plus.
  • A technical background or interest in how products are built is a plus.
