Material UI

Descriere

  • Lead design across the platform’s most complex challenges, from research and discovery through delivery and iteration.
  • Turn ambiguous problems and new business areas into clear product direction.
  • Work with product, client success, and sales to align user needs with business goals.
  • Create data-rich workflows that help underwriters find relevant information and make confident decisions.
  • Shape how AI appears in the product by explaining confidence, showing sources, and keeping underwriters in control.
  • Build scalable design patterns to support expansion into new lines of business.
  • Use AI and rapid prototyping tools to develop and validate concepts.
  • Improve design quality through critique, mentorship, and shared standards.
  • Work closely with the current Lead Designer, product managers, and engineers.
  • Report to the Head of Product.

Cerințe

  • At least 7 years of experience designing digital products for B2B, data-rich, or productivity tool companies.
  • Experience in a fast-scaling startup where team members take ownership.
  • Experience designing AI-powered tools.
  • Experience extending an existing platform and scaling its user experience for new and expanding workflows.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating skill in simplifying complexity, designing thoughtful interfaces, and applying clear interaction patterns.
  • Systems thinking and experience shaping or contributing to design systems.
  • Strong visual design skills and attention to detail, especially in information hierarchy, interaction, and layout.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Curiosity and adaptability.
  • Experience with MUI (Material UI) or a comparable design system.
  • Experience in InsurTech, FinTech, or another highly regulated industry.
  • A technical background or interest in how products are built.
