Intermediate Frontend Developer (Angular) - Canada Remote

Descriere

  • Define the approach, scope, milestones, and solution design for responsive, performant, scalable interfaces across assigned modules and features.
  • Implement solutions with development teams by writing code and building reusable components and modules.
  • Produce maintainable code and unit tests, update frontend documentation, support testing cycles, and fix defects.
  • Build a strong understanding of product functionality to provide effective support to the team.
  • Guide Angular architecture discussions and mentor developers on sound frontend practices.
  • Follow and contribute to team and department coding standards.
  • Join client meetings when required.
  • Lead and contribute to in-person code reviews, pair programming, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Take part in monthly Technology meetings that shape corporate technical processes, architecture, and strategy.
  • Develop and maintain the user-facing portions of Smile Digital Health’s Clinical Intelligence platform.
  • Turn design concepts into practical technical roadmaps and build interactive, intuitive interfaces.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design and implement applications, and test system components.

Cerințe

  • At least five years of software development experience with Angular, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Git.
  • Experience in healthcare or the technology industry is preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent field, and/or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build Angular applications with strong knowledge of state management, observables, interceptors, and routing.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration and clear documentation.
  • Experience with Slack, Google technologies, Figma, Jira, GitLab, Postman, Microsoft Azure, Jasmine/Karma, Cordova/Ionic, REST APIs, and Bootstrap is preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and networking is preferred.
  • Healthcare or HL7/FHIR knowledge or experience is an asset but not required.
