Descriere

  • Lead a portfolio of technology projects and developers working with distributed microservices and full-stack systems
  • Build solutions that satisfy the company’s regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, test new tools, and engage with internal and external technology communities
  • Mentor engineers across the technical community
  • Work with digital product managers to deliver resilient cloud solutions serving millions of Americans
  • Develop with programming languages, open-source relational and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
  • Provide technical direction and leadership across Agile engineering teams
  • Establish standards for design, development, and operational excellence
  • Collaborate with architects on service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks
  • Find opportunities for improvement, apply focused refactoring, reduce technical debt, and enhance system performance
  • Shape long-term technology strategy by assessing emerging tools and practices in a build-and-own environment

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative discipline, such as statistics, economics, operations research, analytics, mathematics, or engineering
  • At least four years of software engineering experience; internships do not count
  • At least two years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud productivity tools, or virtualization technologies
  • New applicants are not eligible for employer-sponsored immigration or work authorization support
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • Preferred: Seven or more years of coding experience across more than two of Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, and Scala
  • Preferred: Three or more years of experience with databases and database management systems
  • Preferred: Three or more years of experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, cloud productivity tools, or virtualization technologies
  • Preferred: Four or more years contributing to open-source frameworks
  • Preferred: Three or more years working with front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks
  • Preferred: Four or more years building synchronous and asynchronous APIs
  • Preferred: Three or more years working with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing frameworks
  • Preferred: Three or more years using Git-based version-control systems
  • Preferred: Three or more years troubleshooting technical issues in cloud environments
  • Experience using modern AI-assisted coding tools and IDE copilots
  • Preferred: At least one year mentoring engineers and supporting professional development within technical teams
  • Preferred: At least one year using observability to find and optimize performance bottlenecks in distributed systems
  • Experience with interactive AI tools beyond basic code completion
  • Experience leading cross-functional engineering work or large-scale technical initiatives
  • Experience defining and enforcing coding standards and design patterns across teams
